Luis E. Betancourt is a Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory working in the Molten Salts in Extreme Environment (MSEE) EFRC. He is a member of the Nuclear Science and Technology Division at BNL. He studies the metal/molten salt interface applying synchrotron tools to understand metal speciation, radiation effects, and corrosion relevant to molten salt nuclear reactors. ORCID ID #0000-0003-4073-5792.
