Nate Thomas is Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science at the California Institute of Technology and is a member of the Light-Materials Interactions Energy Frontier Research Center. He works for Austin Minnich, designing and fabricating photonic structures for the selective absorption of solar thermal radiation. He holds a B.A. in Physics from Amherst College.
