Alex Pearse is a Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland working as a member of the Nanostructures for Electrical Energy Storage II Energy Frontier Research Center. His research involves the vapor-phase synthesis and surface chemistry of ion-conducting thin films, as well as the fabrication and simulation of 3D, high-power solid-state lithium-ion batteries.
